Recently I went on part of an Easter egg hunt and got some nice prizes.
I got a cute costume to try on and had fun posing with Tristan!
Our poses kept kinda matching.

Showing are some girls who were hosting part of the hunt, all decked out in their identical costumes.
They seemed to be Japanese, because they were using characters that look like this to me ********* ** ****.
I can see Japanese characters in my web browser but not in SL.
I wish there was some way to at least see them instead of dots!

At the beginning of the hunt was this funny huge cart of eggs with faces, carried by gigantic rabbits that moved their legs, yet didn't go anywhere!
You can count on the Japanese to make unusually interesting props!
If I resume the hunt, I might post more pics, if I remember!

The last picture is of my cabbit costume, sitting on my adorable giant wabbit.
Some day I might take him out of inventory again...

Subtle, sweet thievery of my heart...

Here are some more friends I had snaps of, stashed away in almost forgotten folders.

I have to say, some of them steal your heart or at least a piece of it. Some times you find yourself glad that they did, that they were there, that they cared, that you knew them.
You wish for them to come back and steal again. The sort of thievery you can tolerate because it feels delicious when it happens.
These friends had that effect on me. Subtle, sweet thievery of my heart...do it again and again!

The first two pictures are of Baal. Such a tease, such a flirt. We got into this whole girl cooties/boy cooties thing that caught on after awhile and I heard others using it. Baal got me started on it. I miss that. Sorry I can't post the other pictures of him here. Hehe...

Following are closeups of Ein...heartmelting closeups. The d00d is so polite and sweet and non-judgemental and practically wholesome goodness. I could dance with him for hours and wonder where the time went. Be still, my heart! Come back and gaze at me with that sweet innocent expression...dance my cares away!

Last of all, from the dredges of Pulse's old bygone days, when avs were everywhere and the lag was only half as bad as now...Faust was a dj at Mutation. Another one of those tough on the outside characters, hiding a gentleman and sweetheart on the inside. How do I keep running into this kind and why am I attracted to them?

More to appear soon...I realized I have a quicker way to edit the snaps so I'll be doing this more often now!
I have lots of folders to open and show you, so hang on for the ride that's sure to follow! No, I mean here...whatever are you thinking? hehe

Old Friends...Lost But Not Forgotten

I promised awhile back that I'd go through my many folders of snapshots taken in SL and start posting some of them here.
Today I realized that I haven't done that in awhile, so I started looking through them and came across some old friends who's names begin with A. Good place to start, right at the beginning, so here are 2 of each of them, along with descriptions or my recollections of them.

The first two are of an old friend who was in Pulse when I was a new neko.
Anyone who remembers Anubis knew that he was a polite, sometimes shy yet friendly person...or android? I never knew him to be rude or unfriendly. He dj'd for Mutation sometimes and often played songs by bands that I really liked or learned to like. I began calling him my Official Music Buddy after awhile!
The second picture is of him being uncharacteristic, with a weapon! I don't recall what the situation was, just myself being in shock to see him holding something destructive. It seemed totally OOC for him!
Anubis left SL, never to return. I still miss his friendliness when I remember him.

The next two pictures are of a rather silly and fun friend we knew as Aoi. I have posted pictures of a Going Away party that was held before he moved to Japan, then some of a sleepover and later of his wedding. The ones here are from a folder of when he modelled. I have over 30 of those but chose 2 I liked most to show here.
I never see Aoi anymore and still miss his silliness. I know Dov misses him too, he even said so!

Okay, I over-wrote my rule of two each just now, when I noticed this folder of Aras!
Sadly, I never see him around anymore.
He seemed unusually talented...he had this knack of making his avs look SO believable!
The first picture was of my first impression of him. I did a double-take because he looked so REAL!
Later on his av had a head cage, which was hilarious. Sorry I don't seem to have a picture of that, unless it's in the wrong folder.
His goth look was at the same time almost scary yet intriguing.
He was making a Roman soldier uniform, which was amazingly detailed.
I wonder whatever happened to this guy with so much potential?

The last two are of a friend named Aydan whom is hardly ever around Mutation when Dov dj's.
That was where or when I met him.
A shy yet silly person.
Fun to party with.
Be careful though, he does bite!
Sometimes I miss his grumpiness.

Just One of My Passions

Okay, it's been ages and then some since I took the time to say anything here, but I still check to see if other friends post updates. Looks like we've all gone somewhat slack, if not altogether MIA. You know who you are!
Think we could all put a little more effort in and make this the interesting, awesome place it used to be...or could be again, or at least half as much?

Now that I've got that off my proverbial chest, here is my update for anyone who cares to read it. And view the snaps (see linkable thumbs below). And possibly comment to it, for whatever reason you see fit.

I have a few, or quite a few things that I'm rather passionate about. I'm sure you do too. Everyone has things they either hate/can't stand for some reason or go all out crazy over.
One of my many passions happens to be decorating. It's a timewaster, wonderful thing to occupy my time when I'm bored or tired of the way things look.
To be frank, I don't have as much opportunity in RL to experiment with things like textures, shapes, color coordination, and the gamut which fits into decorating that I can lose myself in when I log into SL. (Well, there is website, webpage building that I need to update soon, but that's an entirely different story.)
I find it downright theraputic half the time and obsess over it the other times!

Below are several places I've decorated, with various camera angles, inworld lighting variations, etc. I'll title the thumbs and give comments in the snap files for you to see when you go to each one.

This is only the first in several posts about what I've done with decorating.
I've promised Crubo to show him pictures of other places I've done recently.

Falln Ima Outfits!!

I had these pictures on my hd, intending to post them here awhile back, yet kept forgetting!

I was excited to have an outfit named after me by the very creative Azrael from Falln!!
Imagine my surprise to find out it was a belly dancer outfit! *cackles*
